Saying Goodbye

I find this to be a bit morbid just to warn you:

When I was in high school and living at home with my parents, I was asleep in my bedroom. I remember having nightmares all night long and waking up several times. Finally I woke up around 6am and rolled over to try and get back to sleep. I glanced over at the full length mirror that leaned against the wall and saw what looked like the reflection of a little girl. I sat up, thinking it was some sort of shadow and the reflection remained. It was a young girl of approximately 8 or 10 years old with shoulder length wavy brown hair. I stared for a few more seconds before the girl waved and disappeared. Needless to say I was not able to get back to sleep.

I was so disturbed by this that I told a friend the next day. She suggested using a Ouija board to find out who this little girl was. Very long story short, the spirit told us that it was the spirit of my child coming to say goodbye. I questioned why the child was saying goodbye. The spirit responded that the child was dead. When asked how the baby dies, the Ouija merely spells out the word "you" over and over. I was really spooked by this so we stopped.

I went home and removed the mirror from the wall and put it in the basement. I slept on the couch in the living room for nearly a month and when I did sleep in my room again, I left the lights on. I never that little girl again.

Then precisely 1 year and 3 days after all of this happened, I found out I was pregnant and was forced to have an abortion. I guess that little girl really was the spirit of my unborn child come to say goodbye.
