Well it all started when I was young i cannot remember my age. My Nan, Pop and myself was in my pop's car going home from town which was about a 2 hour drive. It was at night about 10:00 and I saw these lights coming from behind. I was sitting in the back seat and they seemed unusually bright so I turned and looked at them and saw a bus behind us that had a glow of its own. Anyway I told my nan and she turned to look and saw the same thing and then told Pop. Of course pop was driving so he looked in the mirror and said he couldnt see a thing. He went to turn around and as quick as it came it left.
I had almost forgot about that incident when 2 years ago when my nan was in pretty bad shape she reminded me. We was living closer to town by now in a place called Gagebrook and she was living 5 minutes walk away. anyway I took my regular visit down there and she told my pop to go for a walk as we needed to talk. She was silent after pop left and then asked me if I remembered that night. I told her vaguely and she started with her own story. She said that me and her was the only people who knew about it as pop reckons that we was both half asleep or something. She then said that she knew what she saw and sounded as though she was trying to convince me or something. I then said I knew all she was trying to say and she calmed down. She then said I have seen it again. On the highway (as there was a highway close by) and said that just last night she saw it outside her house. I immediatley looked out but saw nothing. She said they had come to get her and take away the pain she was feeling we said our goodbyes with tears in our eyes and i left knowing that it would be the last time i ever saw her again. Two days later my mother took her to the hospital and i was waiting at the school bus stop. nan looked at me waved, and smiled. I waved back and knew it was ok. 2 or 3 days later i heard the news that nan had passed away. I never went to see her in hospital as our goodbyes had been said. Naturally I was upset but glad that the suffering had ended. I have never seen the bus again and dont want to for a long time yet. But I know its coming for me just like it did nan and i will be waiting at the bus stop and catch the bus with nan.
Thanking you
